1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Birazu's online learning platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations of the Netherlands. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Birazu B.V., a company registered under Dutch law.
2. Service Description
Birazu provides online educational services including but not limited to:
- Interactive online courses and learning materials
- Video lectures and multimedia content
- Assessment tools and progress tracking
- Digital certificates upon course completion
- Student support and guidance services
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time with reasonable notice.
3. User Registration and Account
To access our learning platform, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring your contact information remains current and accurate
Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
4. User Responsibilities and Conduct
When using our online learning platform, you agree to:
- Use the platform solely for educational purposes
- Respect intellectual property rights of all content
- Not share, distribute, or reproduce course materials without permission
- Maintain respectful communication in forums and discussions
- Not engage in cheating, plagiarism, or academic dishonesty
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Violation of these responsibilities may result in account suspension or termination.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on the Birazu platform, including courses, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by Dutch and international copyright laws. This content is owned by Birazu or our licensed content providers.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal educational purposes only. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our content
- Use our content for commercial purposes
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Remove copyright notices or proprietary markings
6. Payment Terms and Refunds
Course fees must be paid in advance through our secure payment system. All prices are listed in Euros (€) and include applicable Dutch VAT where required.
Refund Policy: In accordance with Dutch consumer protection law, you have 14 days from purchase to request a full refund, provided you have not accessed more than 30% of the course content. After this period, refunds are at our discretion and subject to a processing fee.
Subscription services may be cancelled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the current billing period.
7. Service Limitations and Availability
While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, we cannot guarantee that our platform will be available 24/7. Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance and updates
- Technical difficulties or server issues
- Force majeure events beyond our control
- Third-party service provider outages
We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions. Course completion deadlines may be extended in case of extended outages.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch data protection laws. We collect and process personal data necessary for:
- Providing educational services and course access
- Tracking learning progress and issuing certificates
- Communicating about courses and platform updates
- Improving our services and user experience

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Birazu's liability is limited as follows:
- We provide educational content 'as is' without warranties of any kind
- We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or career advancement
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific course
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
This limitation does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Dutch law, including rights related to defective services or misleading information.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Abuse our platform or other users
- Fail to pay required fees
Upon termination, your access to courses and materials will cease, though certificates already earned remain valid.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved as follows:
- First through good faith negotiations between the parties
- If unresolved, through mediation by a qualified Dutch mediator
- As a last resort, through the competent Dutch courts
EU consumers have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform for out-of-court resolution of disputes.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. Significant changes will be communicated through:
- Email notification to registered users
- Prominent notice on our platform
- Updated 'Last modified' date on this page
Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
